Influencers & Content Creators

Partnering with Creators to Bring Books to Readers Everywhere

Work With Us

If you are reading a book, Ingram Content Group is probably behind it. Ingram works with hundreds of publishers and thousands of self-published authors to get books into retailers. From New York Times bestselling non-fiction titles to BookTok’s trending romance series, we work with hundreds of thousands of books. Influencers and content creators are important drivers of book discoverability, and we welcome opportunities to work together to reach readers!

How does Ingram Content Group work with influencers?

We work with influencers in two main capacities — review copy mailings and sponsored content. To establish consistency and transparency in these functions, we’ve formalized the below guidelines.

Ingram Content Group does not offer monetary compensation for review copy mailings that have no posting requirement. For mailings, we will provide you with complimentary books and give you the opportunity to read and review them, but you are under no obligation to do so.

Ingram Content Group does offer monetary compensation for sponsored content where posting is required. These paid posts will have specific requirements, including post timing and content guidelines, and, in some cases, final content approval.

How can I sign up?

If you’re interested in working with us, join our community of influencers and content creators by completing the sign-up form. Upon submission, your reading preferences and contact information will become available to book marketers at Ingram who are looking to work with influencers and content creators on either paid or unpaid campaigns.

Who can sign up?

Anyone living in the US who is aged 18+ and has an active book-related social media account.

Am I guaranteed to receive books for review?

While we wish we could send review copies to everyone, not all those who submit their information will be sent complimentary books for review. Our decisions are based on several factors, including the relevancy of accounts and our goals for each book/campaign.

How often will you send me books?

This depends on the type of books in our current and upcoming campaigns. There are no guarantees of how many review copies you will receive, but we will always prioritize creators whose accounts and content most closely match the content of the books we’re promoting.

Am I expected to review every book on social media?

While we hope you will read and review the books we send, we know that every book is not for every reader, and there may be times we send you a review copy that doesn’t interest you. There is no obligation to post a review (unless we’ve specifically commissioned content from you on a paid basis), but we hope you will love the books we send and feel compelled to share your thoughts!

Where else should I post my reviews?

If you’re happy to do so, we encourage you to post your reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, or any other social media accounts you may have.

Will I be paid for my reviews and/or content?

This is an unpaid partnership, where you will receive complimentary review copies in exchange for honest reviews. There may be times when we commission specific content from a creator, either directly or through a platform like the TikTok One Creator Marketplace, but otherwise, creators will not be paid for their reviews.

Do you only work with US-based creators?

Yes, at this time, we are only able to send review copies to creators based in the US.

Can I request digital review copies?

Currently, we are only able to send physical review copies. We know this is limiting for some creators, and we are working to find a solution for us to be able to send digital review copies.

How do you promote diversity and inclusion in your review copy mailouts?

We are committed to celebrating a diverse range of voices across all genres that reflect our community, and we want the creators we work with to be a reflection of that. If you are willing to share, we invite creators to self-identify as someone from a marginalized/underrepresented community and to let us know if there is a certain type of book or voice you would like to prioritize on your platform/s.

Can you provide a list of creators you currently work with?

We take privacy very seriously and therefore cannot disclose the personal information of any of our participants.
