Where the book world connects.

*Covered is Ingram’s modern home for what happens before a book hits the shelf. Publishers share catalogs, marketing, and digital review copies. Booksellers and librarians connect with what’s next. One clean, intuitive experience — built for the way the book world works today. From acquisition to anticipation, we’ve got you covered.

When is the site launching?

The Covered Beta will be available in Fall 2026 with select publisher content. In 2027, we will open Covered to the entire industry.

    Where will Covered be available?

We are focused on the US market for launch. Eventually (2027 and beyond) Covered will be available around the world.

How will Ingram manage training and education?

Ingram will provide robust in-person and virtual trainings throughout 2026 and 2027, including at industry events and sales conferences. We will begin webinars, demos, and trainings in Summer 2026 and continue these efforts throughout 2027. See our landing page for the most current event calendar. And please contact us if you have an event you'd like us to attend!

How is Ingram gathering input from the book community during development?

Ingram is engaging regularly with publishers, booksellers, libraries, and other experts throughout development and actively incorporating their feedback into the Covered site. We are actively seeking advisors to help shape the site as it evolves. Sign up via the form on our landing page.

What features will be available at launch?

At launch, Covered will support core catalog and discovery features — including publisher catalog creation, DRCs, reviews, and tags — along with buying tools such as markups, buy suggestions, comps, order export, and select POS integrations. We welcome your input on other features.

What data privacy commitments will be in place?

For decades Ingram has supported the industry with data and is a trusted partner for publishers, booksellers, and libraries. Booksellers and publishers can opt in to data sharing, and participation is completely optional for the Covered site. Ingram maintains a robust data privacy notice and is committed to transparency about how data is collected and used, and where it is shared, so partners always understand how their information is handled.
