You must have all your books priced in all markets – Australia, (AUD), the EU (EUR), the US (USD), the UK (GBP), and Global Connect (USD). The more markets we connect your books to, the greater the opportunity there is for us to capture sales on your behalf.
We only ask that you make your books available in all markets where you hold the rights. If you do not hold the legal rights for a title/titles in a particular market, please discuss this with your account manager. In this instance, your account manager will review your account and if all other conditions are met, they will apply for Ingram Complete on your behalf.
Once we have reviewed your Ingram Complete application and determined that your account meets the qualification criteria, you will be provided with a promotion code to use when you set up your new titles.
Please note: Free title set-up is only available on titles you upload to your Lightning Source account as digital files. Scanned titles are not eligible for this offer.
Ingram is connected to thousands of retailers around the world. GDF is a small annual charge (currently $12 per title per year or £7 + VAT in the UK, & €8 across Europe). If you require any further information, please discuss this with your account manager.
By using the Ingram Complete code when you set up a new title, GDF is waived for the following 12 months.
You may also hear GDF referred to as ‘MAF’ (Market Access Fee).
There are two steps that you must take. Firstly, you must either sign the regional contracts — e.g. the Australia contract — or sign the Lightning Source Global Agreement that connects you automatically to all markets. Once you have done this, you can then price your books for Australia, (AUD), the EU (EUR), the US (USD), the UK (GBP), and for Global Connect (USD).
