"Like most sales reps, I love information. Each working day I begin by logging into iQ to see the abundance of information offered by Ingram on our titles. No day is ever complete unless I’ve spent time viewing the Publisher Title Demand and Sales report.
Instantly, I can see our biggest movers and shakers of the previous day. It’s just how I like to kick the day off! I always take a peek at the Time Comparisons view which offers an instant update on where we are as a company with our Net Units and Net Sales. I so appreciate that within the individual title search you can see all sorts of information in one spot. Is a title active, included in the GAP or PTO program? as well as a snapshot confirming on-sale date, current price, cover etc. And, while there is more for me to learn on the new iQ Title Buying System it too offers so much. When completed and I’m ready to sell the next round of titles I feel like it is the best set of accurate information with regards to comp titles and suggested buy quantities. Lastly, I love using iQ in correlation with ipage as that system just continues to be invaluable. It is what I’ve always known and the filter/search capabilities for titles, authors and publishers are unparalleled. It also serves as a great way to see titles that have been included in advertising vehicles as well as Ingram’s bestsellers across publishers."
